It works on the simple premise that allows full power to the room only when the guest is present in the room and inserts their keycard into the energy management control box. When the guest leaves the room and removes the card power is cut off to the room and stays in the power save mode until the guest returns and reactivates the system. You will realize savings immediately as you see your power consumption drop but still offer your guests complete access to their power needs.
